About Going Thrifty

Going Thrifty is not a destination.  It is a mindset. It’s a lens in which you view your world.  Living thrifty and frugally is more than clipping coupons and scoring store deals.  It is more than doing a few DIY projects and frequenting thrift stores.  It is the way you do life. It is the way you maximize your families bottom line by recognizing and utilizing tools, strategies and community to help and encourage you every step of the way. 

It is also a way to be a bigger part of this world of ours.  While our economy is experiencing hard times, we have brothers and sisters all over this globe who are experiencing harder times.  As we become stronger with our own bottom lines, we are able to have a stronger impact in helping others.  I know this because I have seen it in action.  And it is a beautiful thing…even in an ugly economy.
